Full Membership

To be eligible for full membership

(a) the applicant must satisfy the council that he/she is a Scot or of Scottish ancestry, such ancestry not being claimed beyond the third generation.

or

(b) The applicant is the wife or husband of a member of the Society.

The annual subscription is £10.00 for family membership and £5.00 for single persons.

Associate Membership

Associate Members need not qualify for membership through Scottish birth or ancestry, but should satisfy the council that they have an interest in Scottish culture and customs.

Associate members will enjoy full membership of the Society, except that they are not allowed to become Members of the Council or serve as President or Vice-President.

The annual subscription is £8.00 for family membership and £4.00 for single persons.
